Overview

Excessive gharar invalidates a sale because the parties are not really agreeing on the same thing. Maysir disqualifies a transaction because it is a zero-sum bet with no productive economic activity. Together they cover options, binary options, CFDs, perpetuals, and most meme-coin trading.
